
Don Stephens, Founder/President of Mercy Ships, holds a bachelors degree in religious studies from Bethany College, Santa Cruz, California and lectures internationally. He is the author of three books, Trial by Trial, Mandate for Mercy, and his most recent, Ships of Mercy, published by Thomas Nelson. Deyon Stephens, a registered nurse, is Co-founder/ Vice President of Mission Development. She oversees the Education programs and Chaplaincy at Mercy Ships, as well as being a much sought after public speaker at churches, Women's groups and conferences. Don is the voice behind the Mercy Minute, a daily radio broadcast aired internationally on over 720 radio stations. Don and Deyon often speak at seminars and conferences worldwide and appear as radio and television guests.
