The Holy and The Profane Collide: The Legacy of True Love
When you survey the Bible, you read about two primary realities. One reality is a "Greater" Reality and the other is a "lesser" one. Not rocket science here. But this is a distinction that must be at the forefront of our awareness or else the Bible and its Beautiful message quickly slips from something penetratingly potent to pitifully pathetic - from God-centeredness to man worship!
In this seminar we will take a closer look at snapshots of the Bible that unfold the incredibly dynamic scenario that occurs when this “Greater” Reality - the Triune God, peals back heaven, steps out – and collides with the “lesser” reality – fallen mankind! From Genesis to Revelation, we shall behold this simple, yet profound, reoccurring theme of God’s glory, human sinfulness, Divine judgment and the Only True Love in existence – God’s gracious promise and action in the person of Jesus Christ! We will explore the only hope for all mankind in the life, death and resurrection of the God-Man!
Our prayer to God is that He would graciously deliver us from mere exposure to a living, vital experience in Him.
